Bishop Briggs (born Sarah Grace McLaughlin) is a British singer and songwriter. Her first single “Wild Horses” was released in July of 2015 and was featured in an Acura commercial. In late 2015, the song began climbing the charts and appears in the Top 30 Billboard Alternative Songs chart. In 2016, she released the song “River” which went 2 times Platinum and landed at number 3 on the US Alternative Charts. Both songs appeared on her self-titled EP which was released in 2016.
It was a few years before Briggs released her debut full-length album Church of Scars on April 20, 2018. This was followed by her sophomore album Champion on November 8, 2019. Champion included the songs “Champion”, “Tattooed On My Heart” and “Jekyll & Hide”.
