MADISON, Wis–A federal judge dismisses a lawsuit filed by Grand Chute Town Supervisor Ron Wolff against state agents that searched his properties. Judge William Conley rules that the 19-agents of the state Department of Justice and the Division of Criminal Investigation enjoyed qualified immunity for their actions on March 22nd of 2022.

Wolff and his wife alleged their constitutional rights against illegal search were violated, and that the agents “roughed them up” while serving the warrants. The D-C-I was investigating whether Wolff was a legal resident of Grand Chute while serving on the town board.
