It’s been almost 30 years since Sublime’s lead singer Bradley Nowell died from a drug overdose, but his music never aged a bit. And now, his son, Jakob is finally ready to take the reigns.
Back in December we reported a video of Bradley’s song Jakob performing Santeria in front of a crowd and we were all blown away by the similarities between the father and son.
And now it seems Jakob is finally ready to take over in his dad’s footsteps. During Week 1 of Coachella, Sublime took the stage, new frontman in tow… and it was incredible. Jakob’s voice sounds strikingly like his father’s, while he throws his own little style to the vocals. We love it.
Sublime is back.
