Iconic rock band Garbage is set to release their eighth studio album, Let All That We Imagine Be the Light, on May 30, 2025. This highly anticipated project comes four years after their 2021 album, No Gods No Masters. The album was recorded across multiple locations, including Los Angeles and drummer Butch Vig’s personal studio, with longtime collaborator Billy Bush handling production.
Shirley Manson describes the album as a pursuit of hope and beauty amidst challenging times, saying, “When things feel dark, it feels imperative to seek out forces that are light, positive, and beautiful in the world.” Fans can look forward to tracks like “There’s No Future in Optimism”, “Chinese Fire Horse”, and “The Day That I Met God”.
