OSHKOSH, Wis–Contractors that worked on an apartment building in Oshkosh’s Sawdust District are seeking more than a million dollars in unpaid invoices for its construction. WHBY News has found nine companies have filed construction liens against MK Lofts L-L-C in Winnebago County Court totaling $1.06-million. Another contractor has filed a civil lawsuit as well.
MK Lofts converted the former Miles Kimball building in the 800-block of South Main Street into apartments that opened for residency late last year. The city of Oshkosh provided $1.5-million in tax incremental financing for the project.
